Assemblyman Hikind recently visited The Shabbos House Rohr Chabad Jewish Student Center in Albany. The occasion was “Torah-Tuesday,” a weekly study group where dinner is provided for attendees that’s been ongoing since 2000.

The Assemblyman’s first visit to the student center was in 2006 shortly after the Gaza disengagement. His recent visit was to the new, bigger and better Shabbos House (built in 2009) where he attended the class “All About Havdalah,” then addressed the students about New York State issues and Israeli history.
