RARE ENDORSEMENTS FROM GEDOLAI TORAH

HaRav Chaim Yisroel Belsky Shlita and HaRav Yisroel Reisman Shlita are both urging the entire community to turn out in strong numbers and vote in the coming election for New York State Assemblyman Dov Hikind. Both rabbonim expressed the value of maintaining Hikind’s leadership and representation in State office on behalf of the Flatbush and Borough Park Jewish community.

In response to this, Assemblyman Hikind said, “I am honored to be endorsed by two of our community’s most respected Rabbonim, HaRav Chaim Yisroel Belsky Shlita and HaRav Yisroel Reisman Shlita. I know that neither of these beloved Torah leaders give their personal endorsement lightly and I am truly humbled by their continued faith in me as I seek reelection.”

Rabbi Chaim Yisroel Belsky is a world-recognized posek and a leading rosh yeshiva in Yeshiva Torah Vodass. He received his semicha from Yeshiva Torah Vodaath in 1962, and from Rabbi Moshe Feinstein in 1965.

HaRav Reisman Shlita is also a highly regarded rosh yeshiva at Yeshiva Torah Vodass, the Rabbi of Agudath Israel of Madison and author of numerous seforim.
