HIKIND SAYS POLICE, COMMUNITY WORKING TOGETHER TO CATCH VANDAL WHO SPRAY PAINTED ANTI-SEMITIC HATE MESSAGES IN BORO PARK

VIDEO CAMERA CATCHES VANDAL SPRAY-PAINTING YESHIVA

Assemblyman Dov Hikind (D-Brooklyn) remains in touch with the police following yesterday’s hate attack in Boro Park, which saw a vandal spray paint swastikas and anti-Semitic phrases in more than 20 locations in Boro Park, one of Brooklyn’s largest Orthodox communities.

“It’s a horrible thing that unfortunately happens too often,” said Assemblyman Hikind. “I was contacted immediately and my office and I remain in touch with the police who are doing everything they can. Our community is working closely with the police and I hope an arrest will be made soon.”

The anti-Semitic graffiti, which included swastikas and phrases like “F— you Jews” were sprayed in red paint on walls and cars along Dahill Rd. and 37th St., and 14th Ave. near 38th St. A bald man sporting glasses was captured on video spray painting a yeshiva.
