‘One Giant Leap Forward in Improving Quality of Life’

Assemblyman Dov Hikind (D-Brooklyn) joined Professional Career Services, a division of Agudath Israel of America, in celebrating the students graduating from the Business Enrichment Course at the Boro Park Y Monday night.

“I was so thrilled to be part of this wonderful celebration,” Hikind said. “These students took a giant leap forward in improving their chances at landing better jobs in the near future, which in turn, will improve their quality of life.”

“I look forward to attending more graduations throughout the community in the upcoming year, and will continue to do all I can to ensure that there are even more graduates in the years following,” said Hikind, who has always stressed the importance of education.

The five-month Business Enrichment Course, sponsored by Public Career Services and the Boro Park Y, is designed to refine the skills necessary to help community members advance their careers and compete in the job market.

The courses cover the following topics: business management, job placement, interviewing skills, e-commerce, sales, real estate management, business law, computers, business communication, accounting – QuickBooks, marketing, stocks and bonds and real estate.
