Assemblyman Hikind recently met with the Secretary of Religious Affairs from Hungary’s Prime Minister’s Office to discuss the Hungarian government taking responsibility for the maintenance and security of Hungary’s Jewish cemeteries. Assemblyman Hikind first addressed this issue when he visited Hungary in August, 2010, following the desecration of Jewish cemeteries.
