I was shocked and deeply saddened to learn that a pregnant mother and her 10-year-old daughter—two members of our community—were struck and pinned under a vehicle Tuesday night in Boro Park. The 10-year-old did not survive. The infant was delivered last night and the mother remains in critical condition.

As we pray for the mother and infant, our thoughts and prayers are with the entire family who lost their precious daughter. May her loved ones be consoled with the other mourners of Zion and Yerushalayim.
