Assemblyman Hikind recently visited the Boro Park Jewish Community Council (JCC) to see their operations at work. A long-time supporter of the JCC, Dov was given a tour of the services that are performed at this vital community center, including aid with Food Stamps applications and recertification (the JCC is a Food Stamps provider), Medicaid and other health insurance, crisis assistance, emergency food vouchers, public assistance, immigration and citizenship, legal services, services for the elderly, services for Holocaust survivors, employment services, and HEAP.

“I am always beyond impressed with the important work being done at the Boro Park JCC,” said Assemblyman Hikind. “Rabbi Yeruchim Silber, Executive Director, and Isaac Stern, president, provide exemplary leadership at this outstanding community center of vital resources. He has my gratitude as well as the gratitude of our entire community.”
