FREE SHREDDING OPPORTUNITY COURTESY OF ASSEMBLYMAN HIKIND

This Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. residents can bring their sensitive documents for shredding to Khal Hisachdis Yireim Veretzky (Landau’s Shul) at Ave. L and E. 9th. The event is sponsored by Assemblyman Dov Hikind.

“I’ve warned people in the past to be very careful with their personal documents because identity theft is so prevalent,” said the Assemblyman. “This event is a terrific opportunity for people to bring personal records that people no longer need—such as bank statements and tax information—and have them safely destroyed.”

Note: Only paper can be shredded, not plastic bags or binders.
