On the second day of his trip to Israel, Assemblyman Hikind visited the main business and tourist areas in Jerusalem to give support to local business owners, walk the streets, and speak with residents. As Hikind noted, “What an emotional day in Jerusalem. I came to Israel to give chizuk and support and I got much more in return.”
Hikind visited the site of this week’s vicious terrorist attack at a bus stop on Malchei Yisrael Street in the Geula neighborhood. Hikind also spent time speaking with Sarri Singer, a survivor of a 2003 bus bombing in Jerusalem and founder of a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping victims of terrorism about her experiences and why she is visiting Israel.
Check out some photos from his visit.
