During this season, it is customary for many of us to visit the keverim of our parents and grandparents, as well as visit with and seek the blessings of our Gedolai Yisroel.
I’ve had the zechus and great honor these last few weeks to meet with many of our greatest Torah leaders, who we are fortunate to have within such a close geographical distance from one another. Year after year, meeting these Rebbes and Roshei Yeshivos is always an uplifting experience.
Yesterday, I had the great pleasure of visiting with HaRav Yisroel Belsky, who is one of our most respected Torah leaders. I had the great zechus of having HaRav Belsky as my rebbe during my first year in Beis Medrash when I attended Yeshiva Torah Vodaas. It always gives me such great pleasure to sit with HaRav Belsky, whose charisma made such an impression upon me as a young man, and whose warmth still touches me so deeply today. I am truly fortunate to have such a giant in my life.
Wishing everyone a Gmar Chasimah Tovah! May we continue to strive for and achieve true achdus in Klal Yisroel and share only good news with each other!
