On June 7 at 11 a.m., Assemblyman Dov Hikind (D-Brooklyn) will be sponsoring a Fire Safety/ Home Protection event where free safety devices will be given out, including state-of-the-art wall outlets and digital timers. The public will be treated to informative presentations designed to save lives from the FDNY and a licensed electrician. The event, which will be co-sponsored by NYS Senator Simcha Felder, NYS Assemblyman Steven Cymbrowitz, and NYC Council Member Chaim Deutsch, and NYC Council Member Brad Lander, will take place at the Bais Yaakov of Boro Park Auditorium, 1371 46th Street, Brooklyn.
